Retreats

Application Procedure:

1. Request our available dates by filling out the form in the blue box in the top right corner of this page. Note: if you have already requested our available dates request form in the past, the form request may not work and you will have to email us directly.
   
   
2. Buy the sheet music, in staff notation (piano score, guitar score or lead sheet) without tablature, for one song or one piece of guitar music that you would like to study while you are with us, and attach it to the email you will send us. Acceptable formats are .pdf, .gif, .jpg, .tiff. Please do not send Tabledit, Finale or Sibelius files, tabs or lyric sheets with chords. PDF files are preferred. If you have questions about how to do this, please email us. For purchasing individual songs, we recommend MusicNotes.com.

3. Send us an email (subject: "GVR Application") with the following information:
   • Name
     
     
   • Address
     
     
   • Age
     
     
   • How long you have played the guitar.
     
     
   • A brief description of your previous musical experience and training.
     
     
   • Your preferred dates (request available dates using the form above right.)
     
     
   • Tell us if you will need a rental guitar for use during your stay in San Miguel de Allende.
     
     
   • Information about your lodging requirements and /or plans, questions about lodging, or a request that we reserve a family homestay for you.
     
     
   • Attach the sheet music that you bought in step 2 to this email.
     
     
4. On receipt of your application and provided that we have your requested date available, we will send you a confirmation email and invoice you via PayPal for a $250 USD deposit. The remaining balance (currently $745) plus any additional costs (lodging, guitar rental, or special requests) will be due a minimum of two weeks before the start of your scheduled retreat (we will invoice you a few days prior to the due date.)
